Terms & Conditions

Welcome to ShipEx LA

These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern the use of all services provided by ShipEx LA, including local deliveries, pickups, small moves, business logistics, junk removal, and related operations within Los Angeles and surrounding areas. By booking a service with us, you agree to the following terms:

1. Service Scope

ShipEx LA provides logistics and delivery services strictly within Los Angeles and its surrounding areas. We do not offer long-distance transportation or international shipping.

  • Local residential and commercial deliveries
  • Small moves and apartment relocations
  • Large item pickup from retailers
  • Junk removal and hauling
  • Scheduled business routes and recurring delivery services

2. Scheduling & Appointments

  • Appointments must be scheduled at least 24 hours in advance, unless same-day service is confirmed as available.
  • Time windows are estimates. While we strive for punctuality, factors such as traffic or access issues may cause delays.
  • The customer is responsible for ensuring access to pickup and drop-off locations at the time of service.

3. Cancellations & Rescheduling

  • Cancellations must be made at least 12 hours before the scheduled service.
  • Late cancellations may incur a fee of up to 50% of the quoted service cost.
  • No-shows may result in a full service charge.

4. Payment Terms

  • Full payment is required at the time of scheduling the service.
  • Your booking is only confirmed once payment is successfully processed.
  • We accept credit/debit cards, Zelle, and other digital payment methods.
  • If payment is not received in advance, the appointment may be subject to cancellation or delay.
  • All fees are non-refundable in the event of a no-show or same-day cancellation.

5. Liability & Limitations

  • ShipEx LA is not liable for damage resulting from items improperly packed by the customer or unsafe access conditions.
  • We take every precaution to protect furniture and property using professional tools and materials.
  • Claims for visible damage must be reported immediately upon delivery.
  • We are not responsible for delays caused by circumstances beyond our control (traffic, weather, access restrictions, etc.).

6. Customer Responsibilities

  • Accurate and complete service instructions
  • Informing us of fragile or high-value items
  • Ensuring clear pathways, parking access, and elevator availability
  • Being present at the location during the agreed window, unless otherwise arranged

7. Junk Removal & Disposal

  • Junk removal services include hauling and responsible disposal.
  • We may donate or recycle eligible items, but make no guarantee.
  • Hazardous materials are not accepted unless previously approved.

8. Service Refusal

  • There is a safety concern for our staff
  • The customer is disrespectful, threatening, or fails to disclose relevant access conditions
  • The item(s) are prohibited or hazardous

9. Modifications to These Terms

ShipEx LA may update these Terms & Conditions at any time without prior notice. The updated terms will be published on this page and apply to all future bookings.
